If you listen to the song, it almost sounds as if it could be played backwards and still be semmetrical, well sort of. all of the guitar, tablas, bass AND VOCALS, sound awesome backwards as well as forwards. if youve ever heard a song played backwards, the way maynards voice sounds forwards is almost what it should sound like backwards. sheer brilliance in TOOL once again.

Had never really thought to see if it was reciprocal at all but that would be an amazing addition to the song...has anyone really looked at the guitars or drums to see if any of the patterns are inverted throughout the song?

the reason why it has that reversed typed sound in the vocals is because of the type of reverb that they used and the way they used it... like the beginning of stinkfist...

and what are you talking about??.... there are no tablas in that song
