I was listening to Rant in E-minor the other day and a little realization awashed me. During Bill Hick's rant about how he took 5g of mushrooms and realized that God was love and love is all there is, etc..., I likened this to the last passages of the song:
So good to see you once again.
I thought that you were hiding.
And you thought that I had run away.
Chasing the tail of dogma.
I opened my eye and there we were.

So good to see you once again
I thought that you were hiding from me.
And you thought that I had run away.
Chasing a trail of smoke and reason.

I thought of this aluuding to Hick's philosophy, as in the narrator meeting God, relinquished of any religions, just a pure divine love, and conversing (you thought that I had run away chasing silly fairy tales, and the confusion/smokescreens they breed upon.) Discuss!
