Dates from the hidden flash on toolband.com --- before anyone tries to spin this into something to do with the new album. Been around a few years now.

i think 2006 is a member of tool who is tryign to fuck with us (for a change).

the only reason tools musical releases take so long to come out and are always delayed is because they are too busy reading the threads of desperate tool fans on this forum. they probably leave the studio and get on this forum to get a hoot out of our theories and arguements about the new album.

They're seemingly unrelated links whose actual connection lies in the fact their corresponding dates-of-occurance/interest have been posted on toolband.com before. That and they're all boring.

2006 is an alias of some douche TDNer who wants to get some shit rumors started, and they've probably posted in this thread. If I went and created a username like "Beef Stick" or something like that, and made a thread with some stupid, random sentence, people would think I was Danny trying to give us a hint with anagrams or something. 2006, fuck off.

Besides, any information Tool gives us would be a lie, and I just lost my train of thought.

If someone with the time and power could check use the ip of 2006 to get a local on them, then see if that overlaps with any other members...we'd have an answer.

On a side note, I'm fairly certian that someone amongst us is a tool member, it just seems fitting that they'd come fuck with us on toolnavy....but who...hell if I know.

So if you check out the dates that 2006 has posted
they appear to be

May 23, 1951
April 19, 1943
December 12, 2000 [salival release date]
August 29, 1966
April 17-18, 2001 [original lateralus release date]

These are the dates from the links (I didn't include the Aleister Crowley or Klaus Kinski links)

What does this mean? And does the s/n 2006 mean anything?

wwwanggg
07-07-2005, 01:30 PM
Okay, and also:
May 23, 1951= (5/23/1951) = (5+2+3+1+9+5+1) = 26
April 19, 1943= (4/19/1943) = (4+1+9+1+9+4+3) = 31

The Opiate EP release date was
March 10, 1992 (3+1+0+1+9+9+2) = 25

The Undertow release date was
April 6, 1993 (4+6+1+9+9+3) = 32

25 & 32 are close to 26 & 31, at least they add up to the same number.

So if we can correlate
May 23, 1951 [opiate]
April 19, 1943 [undertow]
December 12, 2000 [salival release date]
August 29, 1966
April 17-18, 2001 [original lateralus release date]

that leaves august 29, 1966. does this have anything to do with AENIMA?
or the new album

i dont think that august 29th has to do with aenima ealing with the numbers. aenima came out oct. 1, 1996. but if you add the date of that (1+0+1+1+9+9+6) that comes out to be 27, making the obvious pattern of 25, 26, 27. but the only connection i gt from the website dates and the aenima release date was the birth dates of crowley (oct. 12, 1875) and kinski (oct. 18, 1926) which add up to 25 and 28(?) respectfully. and the only date left of august 29 falls on a tuesday in the year 2006. so if we're going to use the adding method while inferring to the users screen name, then taht means we still have a year to wait...

Have you surveyed every resident of LA to determine whether your claim that, "not everyone in Los Angels [sic] is a fan of tool [sic]," then?

I'm willing to bet that you haven't.

Take a class in formal reasoning and debate, then we can argue over who's dumb and who's not.

Carny_Handles

I dont need to survey everyone in los angels to claim 'not everyone in LA is a fan of tool', dolt. I can call up my numerous buddies who live in los angels and ask them if they like tool. I know for a fact one of them dosent, therefore the fact remains 'not everyone in los angels is a fan of tool'

I really couldn't care less about how ignorant or lazy you are toward proper usage and mechanics, but taking a few seconds to write in proper english makes your points more understandable. As it is, half of what you say is incomprehendible.

Its funny when one can no longer hold an argument about the topic at hand, and they feel like they have to prove themselves by nitpicking about useless crap like mechanics. There's no argument to be had. You made an unsubstantianted claim and later substantiated it. I can handle that.
