If you guys feel this is just nonsense being stirred up, then please bin this.

From the May newsletter: (pay attention to the bold bit)

" "Illegal?.. Well, that goes without saying. Look at us... Yeah, there's a can of 'night vision' under the back seat. Go take a long hard look! They're no Hodgies here, grunt. We screwed the pooch!.. Look, maggot, we just want to turn the f**k around and, in these times of war and impending war... and with all the dangers of this new century, go intrude upon a real secret base! We're just doing our patriotic DUTY to try and convince the enemy that we have all these technological marvels, and not just a bunch of Hummers reinforced with pieces of scrap metal cannibalized from blown up Hummers! Isn't the Integratron just a few klicks down the road?" F**k, why's this guy so uptight? What, is he prairie-doggin' in the 120 degree heat or pissed off about not getting Cinderella leave? Did they shut the local A&W down? "I've a nephew that's a chairborne ranger over on the Rock at Okinawa that'll have you fishing in the latrine for blind Mullets if you don't quit messing with us! This is Vince De Franco, inventor of the Dimension Beam. One more word, puke, and he'll beam your pimpled ass to Okinawa!" (NOTE: I should probably mention that at the time I had one of those "what god did I offend" hangovers - that and a spilled half of a cup of tepid KFC iced tea in one of my Frye boots). As Scott prepared to turn around, he informed this particular gyrene that the two SUVs behind us were our friends (and NOT rainbows). Well, for whatever reason (see photos), our friends, Camella, Heather, Adele and Amanda were treated a little more civilly at Alpha Alpha. "Oh, what kind of dog is that?" he asked one of the lovelies as Diablo poked his head from the back. Vince was probably right - it was us, and not the ladies that this guy wanted to frisk. From his attitude, he was probably Tool's biggest fan, and if he wouldn't have been running his suck, I would have told the bag of ass about Elephtheria. Jesus Christ, a van pulls up to a Marine guard post in the sand and everybody freaks - am I missing something here? "

Elephtheria is a Greek word meaning "freedom". Apparently, they found the word written (in the Greek alphabet) on an I beam near Roswell or at Roswell, I'm not sure (interestingly enough, Blair underlined H and I later on in the newsletter - wonder what that means). I'm not sure if Blair "[telling] the bag of ass about Elephtheria" was just Blair trying to tell the guard about the fact that they found the word on a UFO part, or whether Blair wanted to tell him something about the new Tool album (which that word could have something to do with).

What do you guys think?

So, once again I scan through all the shit that I don't care about looking for the key words :

Album
New
Tool
Adam
Justin
Maynard
Danny

Not many of them turned up, Elephtheria.. sounds better than Teleincision, but it's still crap.

Did anyone notice this:

"... and Danny's new electronic drums were Vince's brainchild... not to mention that new dimension beam contraption that will enable Danny to play without drumsticks. Need I continue?.."

Now, tool has a link to Vince's homepage, this is it:

http://www.synesthesiacorp.com/eyris.html

Have a look at the Video and Audio examples (in the 'Whats it Do Menu?') of the device he has made, then think of the fact that:

"....Danny's new electronic drums were Vince's brainchild...."

All of a sudden the following statement:

"...new dimension beam contraption that will enable Danny to play without drumsticks"

Doesnt seem like a joke, because this device that Vince invented uses MIDI, and all Electronic Drums use MIDI, this thing can without a doubt be used to control Danny's new electronic kit, or certain parts of it, especially since both were created by the same person. This is very interesting, and exciting as well.

From his attitude, he was probably Tool's biggest fan, and if he wouldn't have been running his suck, I would have told the bag of ass about Elephtheria.

Notice that Elephtheria is italicized. That means it is the title of something. Not a song, because then it would be in quotes. I would say Blair may have told us the title of the new album.

This is assuming Blair has followed proper syntax rules.

H (underlined in article) - 8th letter of the alphabet

08/09......possible release date?

I dont know, Im probably rambling, i just wish someone would give us real news. And also, IF teleincision is released Aug. 16th it seems unlikely theyd give an album just one week before.

My conclusion; don't listen to Blair

08/09....hmmm.... then you're probably right about 08/16 being doubtful.... I like Teleincision more than Elephtheria....

Which sounds better as the title of the album and which as the title of the DVD?

Elephtheria - alb.... fuck it sounds like shit even to be the title of the album. Next presumable title please.

i doubt teleincision or elephtheria will be names of albums, dvds or songs by tool, and if they were the album names, they would change them now because they have been leaked, they probably leak out fake rumours to distract people and to prevent the real stuff getting out.

August 9 seems doubtful....Staind's new album comes out that day and record companies are not going to have 2 major releases on the same day because that would hurt sales immensely (people are not likely to shell out 25 bux for 2 albums on the same day).

Tool said that the album would probably be out before the DVD, but I don't know if that is truthful or just more bullshit.

I actually think the album will be out before the DVD, however they could go the whole salival/lateralus route and release the DVD before hand. How close was the release of salival to the release of lateralus anyways?

And what day does an album generally get released in America...is it a tuesday? cos if so the 9th seems to be a tuesday like i was saying......

Still something seems not quite right, it's way too close to August 16th. Tho i did find Blairs latest post on Toolband amusing, he seems to think we're good at making all these dates up =)

LISTEN, it’s great that so many fans of Tool’s music are so eager for specifics about the recording process, wanting song titles, track listings, the names and social security numbers of engineers and producers, and even the ability to download samples of the recording sessions! Unfortunately, at this point I’m not at liberty to reveal these things, but if and when the band decides that they want certain details to be made public (such as social security numbers), they will undoubtedly get posted on the band’s official site (where I still manage to sneak a few things in…shhhhhhh). In the meantime, there’s always the rumor mill, and those who make up their own album titles and release dates… and do a pretty good job at that!

for all you lazy people :)

Yea, that's interesting... did you notice the word right before it ("HYPARXIS")?

If you look it up, you get an image which looks like this:

http://www.duversity.org/GIFs/hypwilanm.gif

It's called an enneagram. Look familiar?

What's also interesting, is one of the websites which talks about it mentions that hyparxis (the ability to be, represented by the triangle in the picture) involves a cycle of "harmony through conflict" (http://www.duversity.org/doering/3HarmThruConf.html), which, depending on how you interpret it (I guess) sorta goes hand in hand with the elephtheria thing (and what Maynard said in an interview about how his politics from APC have started to go into Tool's stuff).

Yeah, staind is still very popular. I think is just because of the radio. Their new single has already been on the radio for a week or so, and the album still doesn't come out for 2 months. That's insane.

I like staind. I know they're one of the bands that is "cool to hate" now for no apparent reason, other than just saying "they suck" or "they're too popular". They aren't reinventing music, but they aren't trying to either (a lot of new bands try way too hard to make good music and it sounds fake), and Aaron Lewis has one of the better rock voices out right now.

I don't hate a band just because of mainstream success because that is just stupid (believe or not, bands should be allowed to make money in their profession). Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin sold millions of records, and people respect them, so the modern logic a lot of people have is just ridiculous.

Elephtheria is the Greek word for "freedom", which, from what I've gathered, was written on an "H" and/or "I" -beam on the supposed space ship in the Roswell crash. Google it, a lot of stuff like that comes up. Seeing that in the newsletter he was explaining a trip to Area 51, it fits contextually. The fact that he used the police officer symbolically as a "Tool fan" and that he almost "told the bag of ass about Elephtheria" links Elephtheria to Tool in whatever way you may want to take it, name of new album or otherwise.
