As I was reading through some of the old newsletters from toolband.com I came along this quote from Danny.

"If people want to know something about the album title (referring to Lateralus) they should contemplate possible correlation's between the thalamus (Gr. for chamber) and the femur."

Thalamus - A large ovoid mass of gray matter situated in the posterior part of the forebrain that relays sensory impulses to the cerebral cortex.
Femur - A bone of the leg situated between the pelvis and knee in humans. It is the largest and strongest bone in the body.

Has anybody researched this or anything? Has anybody attempted this?

Maybe he's just trying to mislead us by saying that, but who knows. I found some information out about the subject but I'd like to hear what you guys think about it.
