According to Distortion Online, the Tool logo seen on the gateway page is not a new logo, but an invention by web designer Joshua Davis, who has reportedly been asked by Adam Jones to take over the Tool websites. Probably not, since Joshua Davis is only going to be in charge of the design of the website (Blair would probably continue to post, except this time there would be weird randomized Japanese dragon and demon spirals in the background).

What is seen on the Toolband splash page is indeed the new Tool logo...

I know for a fact I'd rather trust him over Wikipedia/Distortion Online...

Blair doesn't run the whole site. He writes the newsletter and news updates. It'll probably stay that way with the new site, I'm guessing.

No, it didn't. It was a friend of mine that had me listen to Undertow. I only bought Lateralus first because it was the only one at the store without a PA sticker so my parents would let me buy it. The packaging came as a nice side benefit.

that one was better that the new one, but i still liked the layout where it said "TOOL" with the different album art floating across the letters myself.
