I dont know. they could fuck each other on stage(btw. why couldnt they do it now, without the woman?).

Seriously, if she was good I think it would be cool.

Depends on how she was used.

I hope the guys would ravage a train on her during each show. Her only vocals would be, "Ouch! It's not supposed to go there!".

DeRais
05-01-2005, 07:16 PM
Maybe if she did the whole "pink floyd female vocalist" thing...you know, only singing to add color and not actually singing words...two singers both singing different lyrics is pretty emo if you ask me.

SmallWangedMan

With the right voice and style, it would be great. But if they just picked up some random chick there would be a 99.9% chance of it being shitty.

Her voice makes we want to disembowel myself with a sword. You people only like this douche because she did a song with Maynard. Get off her saggy teats. She sucks.

I listen to Tori Amos on an almost daily basis, I love her music....but her vocals sometimes kill me, she's not THAT talented of a vocalist, and her lyrics are...well....fucking weird.

BatterY316

It would be cool to hear a female vocal on one or two songs, but I think TOOL should stay the way it is and maybe just have a guest on the album.

Useful Idiot
05-03-2005, 01:23 PM
If the female was Paz Lenchantin, then that would be awesome.

Ashes-TO-Ashes
05-03-2005, 01:36 PM
Paz's voice sucks too.

Listen, just because a female has associated herself with TOOL or one of it's members, it doesn't mean she has a good or impressive voice by default.

Not realistic... On the other hand, as a guest on a few songs...

Perhaps some time in the future Tool and Portishead could combine and create something unique.

alright i don't think that a permanent 2nd vocalist male or female would sound good in TOOL there is no need for that...however if someone were to guest on a song or 2 that would be pretty sick i was thinkin pete loeffler for some background lyrics... and lacuna coils' Christina scabbia is good too i was thinking (if you wanna check it out dl it) the beginning to the song "to live is to hide" by lacuna coil ..that would be sick that sort of harmonious ahhhahhhahh... it would be awesome .. although i still couldnt picture anyone else singing on a tool song.....happy days

my vote goes to sara jezebel deva. She does the female vocals on Nymphetamine (fix) by cradle of filthyness. (ha) She has a very nice voice that would do well as a background vocal line.

she hardly sings in nyphetamine. she does the female vocals in every cradle cd. she fits perfectly with cradle, but she would not be good with Tool at all. she does have a beautiful voice

I got it, they should get a second vocalist to like do the rap thing, you know, Maynard is singing and everytime the next word is predictable, the second vocalist shouts it.

"Black THEN white are all I SEE, (UHHUH YEAH), IN MY INFANCY, red and yellow then came to be (ALRIGHT CHECK IT) REACHING out to me (UHUH YEAH) Let me see (LET ME SEE NIGGAAAA!) (YAYYYEAHH!!! OKAYYYY!)

~WHOA, i think I went too far and transcribed Lateralus, the Puffy (P. diddy) remix featuring Lil Jon

Meh... no second vocalist please. Let Adam, Justin or Danny do some backin vocals if it's really necessary...

On the other hand I'd really like the idea of a keyboard player. That way Danny could get rid of all that electronic crap on his kit.
