My stupid, ignorant, stuck in the 80's, math teacher says it is pronounced pairabula but spelt parabola. I always thought it was pronounced how it is spelt with the "o" sounding like an "o" not a "u". Anyone know the correct pronounciation?

If she was updated to the 90's she would still be out of date!

Yea, that's what I meant. I'm not very good at typing pronounciations.

Sorry guys but as I was reading the posts I couldn't help but laugh at you guys. Trying to pronounce parabola. It was kinda funny Like Kabir says "We really want to keep this worth reading, so BE INTELLIGENT"

I don't care if my posts in this thread are deleted, I was just trying to help someone out. I won't go to personal attacks or "laugh," though.

I understand why you would be angry, but I was just trying to state my opinion. I guess I am sorry for making you angry, and I am glad you could help someone out, good for you.
Now help me out by not responding to this message because I do not want to argue with a fellow Tool fan, thank you.
