listening to my playlist last night rather stoned, randomization found apcs the package playing into tools t&l. the first thought that occured was holy shit does tool ever rock the shit out of apc. then the second thought was hmm perhaps there is some sort of correlation between these two songs. one from the pov of the package (t&l) and one from the pov of the ticks and leeches (the package). there maybe many reasons i've come to this postulation but a couple lyrics in particular.

on another note, listening to the string tribute to t&l noticed an interesting thing. the string version almost completely skips the begining part and begins with the slow mellow part of t&l, whats really neat is that they have decided to dedicate an instrument to the barely audiable lyrics wispered though this part. anyway, i thought it was pretty cool.
