i read the other posts for this song, and the dedication to a passed on friend seems to be along the same lines as what i was thinking...though maybe on a larger scale.
it starts and seems to creep into being, then the notes leap out, bold and inignorable. then the notes slow...and seem to float away on a breeze. inception of life, life lived, passing on...
i was thinking it sounds like life going on, moving on to the next, leaving either nothing behind, or, provided it is dedicated to his canine companion...leaving a mournful friend.
