to me, it seems:

man is far too caught up in the physical, by focusing solely on our own petty problems we lose light of the big picture. yet its so hard to let go of those ideals...those mores and norms that have been engrained into our minds from the beginning.

its only by crucifying the ego, that we will learn to accept each other, and turn our focus to ourselves as a whole. we wait for answers, wait for proof, but its really just wasting our combined self, and with it the human spirit, away.

not to get behind the pulpit here, but think about the tower of babel "behold, the people is one, and they have all one language"..."and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do".

i quote this verse not to beg you to give your soul to jesus, but to illustrate a point. divided by our prejudices, separated by walls of national boundaries, different tongues, different goals. these barriers are all set up by man, and our leaders have adapted to reap the benefits of this unrest.

standing alone, we can not hope to change whats laid out before us to accept...but by abolishing these false obstacles, beginning with our frame of mind, we get one step closer to the realization that we are all the same, and all striving for the same happiness.

thanks for reading.
