I write this now, just as I immerge from a yet another fight with suicide. The song Parabol/Parabola as I listened to it snapped me out of the depression and made me realize that everything I'm experiencing now will soon be gone anyways and I should "embrace this moment" and "remember we are eternal". This isn't the first time that this song has done it for me either. I don't know if people will believe what I've just said, but I hope they do and gain a little more appreciation for Tool. A lot of people view the band negatively, but to me, they are what's keeping me alive on a day to day basis.
I don't know if any of you have felt what I have from Tool's music, but it is definately a lot more than just music.
Never would I have dreamed that something like a song would be the most important thing in my life.
