I think simply enough this songs just about the natural order of things, its just one ways that maynard kinda shows his humor, as he kinda speaks in a reverand kinda way. Us humans grow lots of our food and eat them and we've been doin it for thousands of years, and on the second half i think hes just kinda questioning in a way, why does it have to be like this, why cant it be something better, as far as the natrual way things work.
