I love both of them, I especially love the third eye picture and your poem/explanation.

You should scan them into photoshop (if you have it) and work on them some more.

Are you a giger fan? You should check out J.P.Witkin for some inspiration too.

And now for my shamelss self promotion, check out my photos on the "open mind" post (in the art section also)

Some of the things giger does really amaze me, but the subject matter is kind of dark for my taste.

the last one kinda looks like Gaia by Alex Grey... the idea of it and such is the same.

hey, you're good. the tree is truly exceptional, though i'll admit i haven't taken time to analyze it. once i fix up my scanner i'll have to post some of my own... i'd appreciate any criticism you might offer... i'll come back to this when i have more time and try to be more useful.

yeah, it does look like the painting, that was unintentional though. Its supposed to be about man's exploitation of nature, and its resulting death. The tree has smoke coming out it, showing how we burn up our resources.

I notice you're from ottawa, if you're interested in a collaboration, contact me at [email protected]. Then maybe i'll show you what shading sticks are.
