View Full Version : I hate everything about you...

Anyone notice the similarities between H and this song by 3 Days Grace? You could almost cross the lyrics in the choruses of these songs.
"I hate everything about you,
Slip away, fade away."
"I am too connected to you,
Why do I love you?"
Both of them seem to be about choices and the feelings that motivate them. Where Maynard says "Days away, I still feel you," 3DG says, "Every feeling that I get and I still don't miss you yet."

Yeah, I think you may be stretching a bit here...
also, "I Hate Everything About You" is an absolutely sad attempt at songwriting.

Where the fuck are you getting lyrics from? "I am too connected to you, why do I love you?" is NOWHERE in the lyrics, at least the second part DEFINATELY isn't. And even if your lines above were correct, they mean 2 totally different things.
Pure genius I say, pure genius (major sarcasm inserted here)

I have to agree.
"I Hate Everything About You" seemed extremely mainstream to my ears.

Well, I do like Three Days Grace (maybe the fact that I ripped the songs from my friend's albums instead of buying them has something to do with it), but it's obvious that they're a radio-friendly group. But the songs are at least decent. The song "Burn" from their debut seems like it has a bit of a Tool influence actually, at least in the guitar playing. Just a comment.

I saw THREE DAYS GRACE in concert about 8 months ago in Atlantic City. They are a decent band. I will admit I do have both of their cd's.
They are mainstream to say the least but still you cant even talk about the lyrics of THREE DAYS GRACE compared to TOOL's lyrics. Its just not right.

They're just so predictable and terrible. All of their songs sound the same. But people buy their albums, for reasons unknown to me.

TDG definitely has no musical intentions besides playing basic aggressive radio rock.
I'm sure we all noticed that as soon as we heard their music.
:O Agh, I used to like them for like a second, and then they really started to irritate me because all their songs were so the fucking same.
One-X just sucked, though. Their self-titled album was a bit more of interest to me.

Gotcha, I'm sure I'd know a song or two if I heard it but off the top of my head it doesn't ring familiar...I've heard the name it just doesn't make an instant match in my head
TDG's singles alone are formidable and interesting the first few listens, but when compared to the album...it seems kind of monotonous for a while.

I think I was an idiot about H song hmhm when I first got aenima H was something that I did not like the intro then I just kept skipping that song than after like two years I figure out that song is one of the best ,,,,,,
According to one magazine which I red it like probably 6 years ago, H is a song about his son Davo H Keenan

Damn, that sucks. I wonder why he was banned for that post?
Maybe it was his spelling errors.
Poor man. Only one post and he was killed.
Poor man.
Why did he get banned for that, anyway?
Yast3r
05-20-2008, 11:49 AM
Probably because he exposed Maynard's true son, Davo.
Davo H. Keenan?
Maybe his keyboard was out of whack?
Yast3r
05-20-2008, 12:11 PM
No the whole Devo thing was definitely something to just throw us off. Hence the whole banned status after exposing Mr. Davo Keenan.
I don't feel that we should be discussing the matter here. They might be reading.... and then we'll be banned next. :(
Why did he get banned for that, anyway?
Alias?
Yast3r
05-20-2008, 12:19 PM
Alias?
Wait a second. That was Jennifer Garner? So she used her secret spy wear to uncover that Devo is actually Davo?
Thanks for shedding some light on the situation Rolo.
Yast3r
05-20-2008, 12:22 PM
Alias was a show with Jennifer Garner on it and if you read up there he was banned after saying something about a character named Davo. Also, she played a spy who'd go into top secret discrete mode by wearing a red colored wig.
I'm sorry, I'm really bored today.
