Why is this registration disabled?....my friend is trying to join our tea party.

I've already hinted (http://toolshed.down.net/opinion/forum/showpost.php?p=277837&postcount=5) at the inability to join, within the bug reports section...

I don't know what's going on, so that's where I thought I should report it... However, cold silence has followed...

i think dan might have turned it off to prevent those who have been recently banned from coming back under a new alias.

As far as I know, Dan had to disable the function yesterday to prevent newly banned members from rejoining - there were several instances of this occuring.

I would assume the function will be reset as soon as possible, please be as patient as you can.

If the matter is urgent, I would suggest you pm Dan or another Admin so they can get on top of the issue for you.

Well I suppose as long as it keeps Neochrist and his kind out of the forum it is a good thing but my friend wishes to join and I don't think it is fair to him that a few unmannered poor people should stand in his way of joining.

btw... the scenario I had was similar, but a mate of mine joined and hasn't gotten his verification email yet...

He's been waiting for over a week or something...

But he still has "registered" to the point of not being able to verify his registration...
