I've been writing poetry for a while now, trying to put positivity into my life, and I dont know if its any good, not that it matters because im doin it for myself but i would just like to know. Write back about what u think.

writing poetry is wonderful. when freeopendiary.com is up again i'll send you a link to some of my poetry if you'd like? and we can criticize each other or something yeah? maybe...but yeah. I read a few of yours and you're good. just keep writing.

Maynard has inspired me so much to start writing in metaphors, and I can do it, its a matter of practice and all that...you know? so yeah...I've been writing since the 8th grade (and i'm currently a sophomore) but I stopped for a little while and got back into it again. I write monologues, poems, songs, things like that to just express how I feel.

My friends read most of my poetry and they can't understand it at all...but it makes perfect sense to me. :) happy writing
