I am located in Sydney Australia & copys of Alex Grays artwork has been regulary used to decorate psytrance (psychadelic trance) parties/events that I have attended over the past few years.
They are usually painted with UV paint & featured on walls or trees of the parties and add & enhance the "psychadelic" atmosphere...
His artwork is based on psychadelic visions, and his ideas/thoughts/art are awe-inspiring & enlightening.
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered his artwork used for Tools album Lateralus.
Psytrance & Tool are my most treasured musical influences & to have these different styles connected in this way is unbelievable.
For those of you who are interested & have never listened to psytrance before, I would recommend listening to the artists; Infected Mushroom, The Sun project, GMS...
