my take on the song as a whole

i think this song is about a cleansing of not only society in general, but more more specifically of people in general. it sounds that maynard despises trendy people. the long list of angry "f-u"'s go out to every hollywood trend full of people who don't think for themselves. he's not saying to ACTUALLY kill them, but he's saying that they should cleanse themselves of this bullshit they fit themselves into, and become an individual.

dunno if other people have said this and im repeating, but i jsut didn't see it on this board. anyways...those are my thoughts.

This isn't a rage song. It is more a song of pity, so I would agree with you. While he feels sorrow for these people, he wishes them gone one way or the other.

My problem with it is, if he hates calif. so bad, why the hell does he live there?

Move back to ohio, then.
