View Full Version : where can i get the salival dvd, i dont have broadband and mtv never show tool videos

i live in the UK.

when did the dvd 'salival' come out and will i ever be able to find it? is it good? i want it badly. anyone know where i could find it?

i cant download tool videos cuz i dont have broadband and the vids are just too big.

Well, all I know is that it came out in 2000 and I got my copy in 2001...

Perhaps you could buy it from Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000541I5/tooldiscograp-20) if they ever restock...

I managed to get one there, but it cost me a pretty penny: $61 plus $5 for shipping and handling.

But its worth it.

They had one at best buy a while ago... I was going to buy it but i didnt have the money. Then I went back to the store a week later to buy and and it was fucking gone. AHH!

Or you can do what my friend just did... borrow a friend's copy and use a DVD burner.

Perhaps, "thief," is a better word? ;)

Although, the folks selling them for $60 or more on eBay aren't much better. I paid $22 for mine the day it was released. I should've bought two.

I imagine copying Salival is in the same vein as abandonware software and other sorts of out-of-print copying. It's not available through retail, so you're stuck finding some other way to do it.

I wouldn't be surprised, though, to see the videos (all five of them) re-appear on the live DVD (rumored for June?) along with videos for Schism and Parabol/a.
