Salival was a limited edition Tool Cd and DVD/VHS and it has Maynard on it and everything. Maynard is'nt Tool, you know. Tool is Tool. Whoever told you it was a tribute thing is a lying piece of shit. And yes, the CD is very good, thank you.

The only Tool tribute that I know of is 'Third Eye Open' which is a stringed tribute. Its supposed to be crap anyway, but I don't know because I haven't heard it.

you might be able to find Salival on e-Bay or something like that. There are 2 String Tributes (i heard clips and they sound crappy), and there was another cd with bands ive never heard of playing tools music. I wouldnt look into it though, Salival will do just fine. Hope I helped.

I only got a Burnt version of the cd, that my freind got for me. He didn't have a DVD burner unfortunately, so I didn't get to have the DVD with the 4 live performances.

Question: A Clerk at Sam Goody says he can get me the DVD/CD Boxset for me for $30?

Question: Is it any good? I herd it has like a 50-page booklet and the dvd contains 4 live songs performed by Tool.

Question: What is Salival? Its Some Kind of Leaf right? Do you Smoke it?

Question: I've herd that at least half of the live tracks on Salival where Performed In Salt Lake City,Utah. If True, then thats cool, because I currently reside in Salt Lake City,Utah.

have u read the site's f.a.q.s yet? that will tell you some basic info about the cd...
the booklet is mostly photos from the videos and concerts.
the dvd doesn't contain concert footage, just tool music videos... the dvd has a hidden one that the vhs doesn't (hush)

but $30 is an awesome deal. i paid that for the vhs version, the dvd has been over $100 on e-bay and amazon from time to time.

no it was LIMITED EDITION..............meaning they are all gone now

'SALVIA' is a legal drug which gives the users halucingenic effects and, depending on how your smoke it or uses it, sometimes a pot like high.........dirty childish drug IMO

i doubt you could order from sam goody.....the clerk probably failed to notice the fact that he could't order it any longer.........i've been looking around furiously for a while trying to find a cheap version of the album to no avail!

E-bay is pretty much the only place you'll be able to find this gem.

Get this right, about a year ago I went to the record store and asked for Salival, the fucking girl behind the desk goes "We've got 2 copies left on the computer I'll just check to see if they're there" so she goes off to check and tells her boss and he comes back and says "We can't sell you it because it has been recalled" I'm like what the fuck I'll pay extra and he goes nar sorry I can't, so anyway that went on for about 10 minutes asking about them and shit and then I left the store....I need a shave

If there is anyone willing to send me a copy through the internet i would appreciate it, my cd is scratched and it skips on merkaba, no quarter, and a little bit on pushit.. which is enough to make a man cry. I can provide proof that I own the box set.

PM me please.

I got so lucky and bought one off some guy on an internet message board about computers. There was a "for sale" section that had some guy who was moving across the country and was selling DVDs and CDs. Among the list was "Salival"!!!! And the price was even more amazing..........$10!!!!!! Grabbed that sucker like it was the last on Earth.

The DVD version too.

I dont understand why tool doesnt release 500~ or so more copies on their website for 150 or so each. They would sell out so fast.

there are two string tributes and they are cool in their own right. I mean I can't just sit down and listen to the whole CD but it's neat hearing Tool performed by a string band.

Third Eye Open? Yes it does.Hell yes. The String Tributes are amazing. Third Eye Open is a little better than Metamorphic, but not by much. It's got more popular songs on it.
