safe makes sense, when the music starts, it plays a measure and maynard comes in at the last note ' SAFFFFFFFFFFFFE ' then it makes sense wit the rest. thanks chris ^_^

I'm pretty sure he or another of the band members is screaming INSANE.

The "IN" part is yelled while he's trying to throw the Bob Marley wannabe out and the "SANE" (not SAFE) following the guitar intro. I've been listening to this song since 1993 and that's what I hear.
