Which one of these mics is better?

If you can think of a better large diaphragm condensor mic that is better than these, but less than 150 dollars, let me know.

what are you going to be using the mic for?

(instrument, recording/live?)

acoustic guitar, tablas, and for recording puposes.

The instrument that i want the mic to best suit would be the tablas. So, hand drums, kinda stuff...

The V67G, hands down. Actually, the 2001 is kind of MXL's black eye, in an otherwise excellent line of mics. There is a mod to make it much better, but I think you'd rather avoid that.

It's higher because it includes the shockmount, which you need, and a very high quality mic cable. 8th Street also does price matching.
