i would just like to say something concerning interpretations, and whether you agree with me or not is up to you...
i think that when tool write their songs, they probably do actually have a specific meaning for it, that is, perhaps, only relevant to them...
but if you make an interpretation of... anything; it doesnt matter if you're right or wrong, it just matters if the meaning you come up with has any personal meaning or significance to you, or if it affects you at all in anyway...
of course the interpretations i myself come up with are probably wrong (probably meaning definitely), but somehow they still mean a lot to me and that's all that matters. and i think to share your ideas is very good because it can teach people to think of new ideas and to be creative.
