There is just something about this song that makes you want to get up and deal with your problems. I was going through a lot of shit with my girl (typical problems for the autumn years of being teenager) and had never gotten truly aquainted with this tune. I felt so enlightened, so inspired, that I got up and called her. After a good long conversation (with nothing but these lyrics running through my head), all was fixed. It may seem like just like a childish reason, but I have nobody to thank but Maynard and crew. They have inspired me, uplifted me, and shown me how to live.
I've never felt so alive or whole. I can truly escape thorugh this music...it's a rush comparable to nothing else.
