First post, but I feel as though I have some food for thought here. I have read quite a few posts on this song and what it means, and i have seen some good interpretations. However, I have a live Tool video from 96' , where Maynard states quote "This song seemed to cause alittle controversy up here on much music. This song is about recognizing, identifying the cycle abuse within yourself : first step of the process realization...identifying....the next step is to work through it. But this song is about the first step of the process which is recognizing." That is coming straight from maynard himself from a 96' Montreal concert. Any Ideas?
