Does someone need something in particular to have an avitar or is the server down or something, because ive tried several times to place my 100 x 100 plx, 8 k .jpg image as an avitar and it doesnt seem to be valid. ive also tried .gif and .png and i was wondering is it just me?

the exact message is "The uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again."

I'm having the same problem. I tried to upload an image that met the requirements (less than 100x100 pixels, gif, small filesize), and got the error message that it was not valid. I then tried uploading the image to my personal webspace (which allows direct image linking, unlike geocities for example) and instead of uploading, choosing the link option, but that didn't work either. I still got the same error message, that it wasn't valid. Seems like a bug in the forum.
