I also find it very interesting that they're connected, but have usually included Lateralus in that union. As a matter of fact, I find that the entire album flows together in an almost mathematical way.

[The Border Line]

Without a doubt. Even aside from the obvious, "real connections" such as Eon Blue Apocalypse - The Patient, Mantra - Schism, Parabol - Parabola, and Dispositoin - Reflection - Triad, one of the features of Lateralus that made me fall in love with it so was the fact that the whole is greater than the sum of all its parts, if you will. There is just such an incredible consistency between the songs that I have only seen from groups such as Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead.

Truly, there is much more to an amazing album than just 12 really good songs.
