It's always been my personal thought that Tool songs are usually titled in such a manner that you'd think they were about that. Typically, in the cases of Prison Sex and Stinkfist, you're treated with lyrics that seems like they're describing rape or anal fisting...but are cleverly arranged so they can mean something totally different, but still keep the title in mind...ever so slightly.

A very good point though not all songs do that several do. And can anyone tell me why they would censor stinkfist's title and not censor prison sex's back when these were not banned or out of the Mtv rotation? Censoring is a very opinionated thing ...

I know next to nothing about the censorship process, but....

I'd guess that the censor that "hacked" Stinkfist replaced the (more lienient) censor that allowed Prison Sex.
