Has anyone figured out who Uncle Martin might be referencing? Because that's crucial to the line. I guess what the difference would mean is, is he witnessing an actual alien like Sigourney Weaver or an alien within a human similar to like Radiohead's Bodysnatchers?

and Body Snatchers was a movie before Radiohead made a song about it.

Can you interpret Uncle Quark in context? Because it could have just been like a typo in the recordings. I kind of hear it, but can't make sense of it

Uncle Martin, My favorite martian, it has to be familiar. Pissing your pants is slang for being very scared, so that could be something. But with someone familiar? I doubt it

maybe the point of the song is about someone trying to turn a story into something it's not... maybe this Uncle Martin character is just a camodude from Area 51, but since he's tripping, he's convinced himself it's an alien abduction.

With a face to the name, Quark, it becomes more plausible. Would swing against the Scientology theory however. I like Uncle Martin, plus they are the official lyrics, but i just can't make do with the "blue-green Jackie Chan" lyric and have L Ron's sweaty upper lip meaning he's right, or rather that the character thinks he's right. Interesting endeavor
