Tabla is quite possibly my favorite instrument. I'm not a tablist, though my friends is.
If any of you are interested, check out the album Arás by Curandero (a flamenco guitarist and tabla player). The album is flanked by Bela Fleck and the absolutely amazing Kai Eckhardt (better than Jaco, Victor Wooten, and perhaps Stanley Clarke imo)
