l think this song is just talking about life in general...how it can bring you down, and how it can make you feel euphoric, in so many ways...
Also maybe someone who hears voices to tell him to do things...and he can't escape it, and he doesn't want to, because this makes him feel euphoric, while, and when he does it (drugs l'd say). That's why he becomes so comfortable.
