I think the title of this song is what's important, the actual music is just a little guitar ditty. Just something to add in to the CD.

an eternally long, cold apocalypse. to me it seems more reflective of the nature of the album, drawn out, mellow (like the music)... it's not really an apocalypse at all... it's going to take eons (or aeons) to come, and it'll be cold and calm when it does. Apocalypse's are not generally thought of as cold and slow, when i think of the apocalypse i see fire and earthquakes and LA falling into the ocean and that sort of thing. To me this says, 'hey, we're not going anywhere, because our evolution is stagment'; it says 'keep calm, relax', and that evolution, not revolution, will change the face of our planet.
