Does anyone know what kinds of materials were used to make the costumes on the stinkfist video? especially the ashy, dusty effect that covers everything.

I suppose they were 'flocked' for the ash, and that was paint for the anatomy section of the video.

yea the costumes...i have no clue...but they remind me of when u come out of the water at the beach and u roll around in the sand and it all gets stuck to you...that was my very first reaction the first time i saw the video...

Looks more like some kind of a textured rubber. In some parts in the beginning, you can see folds in the back of the guys neck.
