I wouldn't say that. David has been around for a long time and has long been my favorite comedian. I wouldn't say he's the new Bill Hicks because he doesn't try and emulate his style in any ways. They are both individuals who share a common outlook.

Also, David Cross is funnier than Bill Hicks imho.
