I think the ambiguity that is associated with Mantra reveals the message of this song and Schism: communication, or the lack of. Combining the theories of a choking cat and whales, both stories given by tool, then maybe they were trying to make it confusing, an example of no communication.
Whales trying to communicating with eachother, which we cannot understand what they are trying to say, so to us it sounds ugly, like a cat being choked. Tha mantra of this song was supposedly 'i love you' but the voice was augemented to sound all distorted. This perfectly shows the theme of schism, miscommunication of a basic message of love.

Actually, I didn't agree with him. I said in the way he was trying to perceive his thought it made sense, that's neither agreeing nor disagreeing with his statement. Secondly, it's positively not me. I've just been busy and haven't really had time to post in a while. I came back today to contribute my 2 cents for a bit. I think majority of people may notice that over the past few months my comments have become less and less hostile... =-)

Um, no. Not taking any medication. Just more at peace.
