The tdn forums opened its doors for registration thanks to dan who worked tirelessly at Kabir's discretion to create a community where Tool fans could come together and discuss various thoughts and interpretations of Tool's catalogue. Thus, members slowly trickled in to join in on the discourse, and to post their various ideas in the Albums sections; which, at the time of tdn's early inception, were the only forums available.
