I missed out on Salival when it was first released and am now thinking of buying it over the internet. But my computer will only play Zone 4 (New Zealand & Australia) PAL DVDs and will not play Region 1 (US) NTSC DVDs. As I am not currently living in NZ or Australia I can't just go looking for a copy locally.
Is the US-released Salival DVD region-coded or zone-free? If I buy 2nd-hand from Amazon will I be able to view it?

you won't be able to view it without doing some region unlocking on your computer.

however, get ahold of a DVD copying tool (like DVD shrink), and make a copy. Salival is something like 1.2gb so you can copy it without losing any quality, and when you copy it you can make it region 0 (region free). there are also programs that will convert from NTSC to PAL, which will lose you a bit of resolution, but then you'll be able to play it on your TV.

good luck finding the Salival DVD for a decent price, though.
