Anyone got their tickets yet? I haven't, and the fuckers wont answer my emails!

don't be too sure about Isis supporting Tool. From the band's weblog at http://sgnl05news.blogspot.com :
" --- First, we regret to inform you that the rumors of a European tour with TOOL is just a rumor, we are actually gonna be in the studio at the time. Hopefully another opportunity will present itself soon. Sorry for the mix-up but unfortunately it is NOT going to happen."

But Isis will be touring Europe later on in Summer. They are already confirmed for Amsterdam, July 19th in The Melkweg.

My girlfriend is in Barcelona right now and she bought a magazine with an advertisement for the Tool concert, it said Tool with Isis. Im not sure about about it, just stating what i heard.

My luxembourg ticket also says Tool + Isis, but I guess both the magazine and my ticket got it wrong (could be printed earlier than the announcement of the band on their site). It would be awesome if they'd come but don't get your hopes up too high...

Well, seeing them is Lisbon and then going to beautifull Barcelona to see them. =D Well, I don't have the tickets in my hand yet also, but I'm trusting Iguana Pop and will pick them up at the the ticket office. If they took the money, then I have a ticket. Simple.

The concert is sold out.

Anyway, perhaps you can find tickets on the forum of http://www.salarazzmatazz.com/.

Don't know yet which band will play with TOOL.

Ha.
Well... You'd think so wouldn't you! I purchased tix through Iguapop and paid for delivery (as their site "Strongly Recommended" it). I've since learned that somewhere along the line, some piece of shit out there has posed as me, forging my name, and stolen my tickets. They were sent but never made it to my door.

I'm phoning iguapop several times a day to which they give me the runaround, leave me on hold, tell me that the person i need to speak to is unavailable and will call back - which ofcourse they never do. I've also sent countless emails... to which they do not respond. They couldn't be any less helpful or interested in helping in any way. And i'm left holding my dick with no fucking tickets and with the show less than 2 weeks away.

If anyone can help... please, please get in touch.

Having said that, I'm sure you'll be fine, as i know others that received theirs, no problem.

If the dirty little theiving ghetto rat that has my tickets is reading this... You better hope i never fucking find you.

Hi all,

We will go from Madrid show (Directly from Festimad festival) to Barcelona...

There is no more information about the show right now. The last "update" is that www.gamerco.com (iguapop) modified the opener band:

29.05_ Barcelona 20:15 h RAZZMATAZZ 1

TOOL a las 21:30

No se permite la entrada a menores de 16 años.

Deftones will play on 2006/05/28 at Razzmatazz, and Gamerco confirmed that the opener is one Spanish band (Berri Txarrak). So, maybe Tool opener will be another spanish band... :S

i'm going to the Barcelona show too... i went last year to see Nine Inch Nails in the same place Tool will be playing (Razzmatazz 1), and it was a cool venue, good sound (for what we usually have here in spain), but a bit too hot inside (apparently the air conditioning was f'ed up... and someone from Barcelona told me that is pretty regular in Razz1)...

anyway... maybe it's too late now (i'm pretty new here, and i just saw this section of the forum), but if anyone of you is expecting to come to Spain to watch a show (Tool, or anybody else) and buy tix via Gamerco/Iguapop or Ticktackticket (the other "big" concert management company), it's always better to choose to get the tix at the venue... i did it last year in the NiN show, and i had no problem, i just had to take the credit card i purchased them with, my ID card, and the ref. number they gave me at the time of buying them, and it was ok... and the same with Ticktackticket, with the added good thing that if you arrive 1 or 2 days before the concert, you can go to FNAC (some sort of Tower Records or Virgin Store, but french/spanish) and ask for the tickets in advance, and they print them instantly...

oh, and i forgot... no news about support act... i read somewhere that Oceansize could be opening for Tool, but there has been no confirmation (and there's no dates between may 23rd and june 23rd in their official website)... and not even a local band has been announced...

if you don't have a problem with the risk of going to the show without a ticket and having the possibility of finally not getting in... there are scalpers around razzmatazz, even more with sold out shows (last year in NiN's show, there were several of them around buying/selling tickets)...

i don't know exactly how much they ask for tickets (i haven't needed to buy from them... and i have my ticket for tomorrow's show), but i'm sure it's not normal price (36e, about $45)... don't think they'll ask for more than 100e, if you are too desperate to get in, tho...

anyway, i'll PM you now with this same text...

PS. i hope this isn't considered scalping (i'm not reselling tickets, nor i have any connection with the scalpers i mentioned... i really don't like that kind of "business"), i'm just trying to offer some help to someone who needs a ticket for the show... if it's considered scalping, i do apologize for it, but it isn't my intention...

so this is not a festival, but an entire tool show...
let's see how they behave, I hope they will add a song or two to the usual set
