whats your favourite cover done by tool? not the originals, tool version vs tool version. also do you have any fave remixes of any band, particulary tool and apc? mine is probably the judith remix, its just insane. im not a big fan of remixes either but some are fun

Out of those two from Tool, I'd have to say No Quarter is better. Much more powerful and dark.
From APC, I'd have to say the live alt. version of The Nurse Who Loved me is my favourite. I went to see 'em only having heard the album version, and was completely blown away when they played it.

You lied is a good song, but the live version is better because of that bassline near the end...plus I don't like the singer's voice in Peach.
No Quarter is much better than the original, so deal.

tool played terrible lie? wicked, when NIN play that song live its mind blowing... i have to say No Quarter is awesome, when i saw tool play live they didnt play any cover songs so i dont have much to go by.
Gotta be No Quarter, just because I respect any band that can take on a giant like Led Zeppelin and win.
