Wow, After listening to this song over and over, I realised it needed a point. Listen to the beat, it's like the same beat as jimmy, and its right before jimmy....

hmm. yeah...

what's the first thing you think of when you hear intermission?

For Me, it's like visiting the circus or some carnival..... brings me back to my childhood...
hence, why jimmy has the same riff as intermission... just harder... cuz he's 11.

I think they did a good job of going into ragtime swing in 5/4. Not too easy.

How could you have JUST noticed that, as if you've heard the song over and over again...but it was only this one time you realized it?

DOnt be such a dick... I mean comeon you act as if you noticed it right away and didn't say "hmm. seems so familiar. seems like i'm slipping into a dream within a dream" any way i think its awesome how its done. and way cool song. I often do a little jig to the song

Well l wasn't meaning to be a dick...l just thought he phrased his entry wrong, or something. And actually, l did notice right after Intermission that the intro to jimmy is the same. But l guess that's just me. But l can see where you're coming from, the way l put that was quite dick of me. Sorry about that my friend.

Intermission is the piano version of the guitar riff from jimmy.

For the love of whatever God may or may not exist, it's a synthesizer.

a gives an interesting prelude for jimmy and gives the idea of him being eleven years old even more meaning with its "kid like" sound. i like it

Personally, I noticed it immidiately the first time i heard it, thought it was really obvious

also nice to know that im not the only person with an intermission dance

Yes it is, played by Eban Schletter, from "Mr. Show".

Wonderful transition between the two tracks. Catches you off guard if you aren't listening closely at the time of the track change. One time I thought that the disc had skipped.

It's an organ with a "Leslie" I thought. May be wrong.
